Reverend Thomas T. Davis, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor of Riceville Mount Olive Baptist Church in vibrant Southwest Houston, Texas. He is deeply committed to embodying true spiritual leadership—faithfully preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word, leading by example, and providing compassionate pastoral care. His ministry is rooted in the church’s guiding motto: “The Church that Loves, Learns, and Prays” (Acts 2:42).
Licensed to preach in 2001 and ordained in 2010, Pastor Davis began his ministry as Youth Pastor at New Ebenezer Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi, under the leadership of Reverend Dan Day, Jr.
He later served as Pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Church, also in Jackson, Mississippi.
After relocating to Houston, he joined Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as an Associate Minister under Reverend Terry K. Anderson and led impactful missionary work through the Haiti Outreach Ministry.
He has been joyfully married to his wife, Rashunda Brianne Davis, an educator in the Fort Bend Independent School District, for over two decades. Together, they are the proud parents of three sons: Thomas III, Joshua, and Ashton.
Pastor Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Southern University A&M College and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Houston Baptist University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Clamp Divinity School at Anderson University.
A lifelong learner, he is also a proud member of Theta Alpha Kappa (National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology) and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
