About Us
The Care & Support Ministry exists to uplift, encourage, and walk alongside our church family through every season of life. Through compassionate visitation, prayer, counsel, and fellowship, Riceville’s Deacons and the Ministers & Deacons’ Wives share the love of Christ by caring for spiritual, emotional, and practical needs.
Together, they serve as a support system for members, fostering unity, strength, and a Christ-centered community within the church.

Deacons Ministry
Riceville’s Deacons Ministry provides prayerful leadership and compassionate support to our church family. As spiritual servants, they work alongside the Pastor to nurture, protect, and care for the congregation with humility and faith.
Ministry of Care Deacons visit the sick, comfort the bereaved, encourage members, and assist with communion and baptism — offering spiritual strength and comfort in times of need.
Support for Worship & Fellowship They help maintain order during worship, guide congregational care, and serve as spiritual mentors and role models, fostering unity and reverence within the church.
Administrative & Practical Service They assist in benevolence support and partner with ministry teams to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the body of Christ.

The Ministers & Deacons’ Wives faithfully support the church through prayer, encouragement, hospitality, and Christ-centered care for women and families. They lead by example, offering grace, wisdom, and nurturing support throughout the church community.
Ministry to Women & Families They provide guidance for young wives, mothers, new believers, and women in transition — offering spiritual encouragement, strength, and comfort through life’s seasons.
Christian Example & Fellowship They serve as models of faith and unity, fostering sisterhood, supporting church women, and encouraging spiritual growth through prayer, love, and service. Care & Event Support They assist with church fellowships, visitations, and special services, offering encouragement and support to leaders and members alike.
